This is a very sturdy chair and I have high hopes that it will last a long time. The cushion is kind of hard, but I suspect it will soften over time. The challenge with this piece (as with most things needing assembly) is that the instructions are missing a couple of important details which could be solved with a couple of additional sentences. What text there is does contain several misspellings or using the wrong word completely...tied when it should be tight for example. It would be helpful if the instructions included pull back the velcro on the underside of the cushion to access the holes for the bolts. Secondly, if the instructions said carefully cut a hole in the fabric between the staples on the rear of the cushion to allow the bolts to come through, I could have saved 15 minutes scratching my head. After I figured these two things out, it was 10 minutes to put the chair together. Excellent buy!
