We purchased the green version of this bed as a gift for my brother, whose aesthetic in life is everything green. I purchased a new green duvet and some emerald green satin sheets to go with it all and I must say it looks absolutely fantastic. Like a green decadent frosted cake. As far as the assembly of the bed, some things did seem a bit interesting, such as black caps with pegs on them, which go on the end of the slats and into the frame. I at first was a little surprised that the drawers were not actually attached but rather they just freely roll in and out from under the bed. But after testing them out a few times I realized I like that they are disconnected from the frame. I will say that once its all constructed, it looks great. It could be a tad bit sturdier but for what you are paying for, once it assembled and set up, its worth it. My brother loved the bed and has never had storage drawers under one and he loves them.
I recommend the bed, I am actually considering one for us as well but in a different color. The green is a very deep velvety emerald green and looks great in person. For anyone thinking about it, give it a try.
