Im 26 weeks pregnant and assembled this bunk with my 10 year old daughter! It was fairly simple to put together. I got a few pieces turned around requiring some additional time, but overall it took us about 2.5 hours. I would recommend laying out all the pieces alphabetically to check that you have all pieces first. I would also recommend an electric screwdriver/drill to attach the wood slats that hold the mattress up at the last step. They didnt have Pre drilled holes for the slats to connect to, so that cut the time at least in half by using the drill. Very pleased!!!!
