Very good bed. My mother and I put the bed together in just a few hours. Everything was labeled, it came with wrenches, and was worth the money. I am 59 and I cannot stand upright under it without hunching a little. But I can easily lower my head to get under where I set up my desk. Having this loft bed gave me a ton of space in my room. The sturdiness is pretty good. I had never had a loft bed before so I was concerned about plummeting to my demise in the middle of the night, but I obviously survived. It wobbles a bit and sometimes makes creaky sounds that make me fear for my life, but everything ends up fine. Im just paranoid. The guard rails are high enough to keep me and my pillows on the bed. The ladder could probably use some grip tape because if you try to climb it while wearing socks youll notice how slippery it gets.
