I ordered this because I needed a small shelf for a small spot. I got it in the mail in a timely fashion but when I went to put it together it was missing one of the pre-drilled holes! I had a peg that was poking at a solid surface where a hole should have been. I had to break out my own drill and luckily I had a bit big enough to drill the hole for the peg, but I shouldnt have had to do use power tools to put this together. What should have taken me 15-20 minutes to put together actually took several hours (b/c my drill was not adequately charged and only drilled a little bit at a time). I had to break out the measuring tape and everything to get that hole in the right spot, and it was definitely a necessary hole. I couldnt have put the shelf together without it, it would not have supported any weight without it.
So now that I did all that hard work, I have no objections to my little shelf. I would just have preferred to have left the extra labor up to the manufacturer.
