Selected this bed for my toddler when she grew too big for her crib. The assembly was one of the easiest weve done. They not only organized all hardware in sections so you could easily identify what you should use - they supplied extra hardware which was much appreciated. I was almost able to assemble the entire thing myself, it was that easy. The bed is perfect for our four year old and I hope she will use it for many years to come. I love the way it looks and the price was about in line with our budget. I wish the mattress laid inside the bed frame instead of on top. I worry after a few years the tape that holds the mattress on will not work. We have a platform bed that has a allows the bed to sit a few inches inside the frame. Also the bed does not appear to be of high enough quality to hold up to the wears and tears of toddlers. Our son got a hold of a pen and decided to add some small decorations on the frame which already do not come off. Not sure that is something the bed maker would consider but wanted to mention it for anyone else look for a bed for a child. Pretty and inexpensive
