Amazingly sturdy bed! I bought this loft bed because space was very limited with a roommate. I feel very secure underneath this thing, very sturdy and amazing for the price. It is very heavy though, I felt bad for the one guy who lugged it up our second floor.. and I tried to build it by myself too but you really do need at least two people because of the weight (youll need someone to hold one piece while you screw it in at the last step). The rungs of the ladder are very straight and boxy, so it might hurt your toe and hands a bit going up and down since its all metal. But nevertheless provides much better support than those skinny ones other bunk/loft beds have! Overall Im satisfied. Nice mid century look
