It took my husband about an hour and a half to build. We didnt have too many issues except we had a hard time getting the screws in for the rails (only spots without precut holes) and the wood is pretty soft. We had a dent in one piece before we even finished and we were trying to be really careful but thats on us. My son loves it and loves making forts under it. Very well built
