I got this frame for my futon since I wanted something simple, but also wanted something raised a bit off the floor.
This is a really lovely piece. The wood is really nice and solid which makes for a super sturdy frame.
If you get frazzled by directions and needing to take your time to put something together, this is not for you. While there arent an insane number of pieces this does require a smidge of patience putting together. Definitely followed the directions and only tighten the screws to 80% until after everything is in place. And when putting the planks down make sure you place the ones with the side drill holes on the ends so you can attach the head and footboard properly. I missed that in the directions the first time.
