You need to be really careful putting this together. Loosely fit all the screws so you can get a consistent fit and align the slats. I had to tighten one side before I tightened the other so I could adjust them. If you dont, itll seem like the parts dont fit.
Overall: this is exactly what I wanted and Im quite pleased with the sturdiness, ease of assembly, and looks.
My one complaint would be there was a small dent in one of my slats from transport, but it is so minor that Im not that concerned with it. Packaging to protect it was so thorough that I wouldnt even blame the company. The package was bubble wrapped inside and out and very secure.
