Its very sturdy and well made but light enough for me to easily move from room to room when I need too. All you need for assembly is a Philips sdriver that is not included. The instructions were easy to read and the hardware was separated and labeled by steps. It took me about 30 minutes to put together.
The desk lifts up and he stores his small laptop and notebooks inside with pencils etc. this is nice because it keeps these things safe from are dog who loves to literally eat his homework.
