My initial reaction to this, once put together, is that its short. It seems like its built for a younger teenager. BUT my perspective could be totally skewed because Im use to a tall large desk chair. This is actually for my husband. He put it together and he uses it in his new home office (thanks, covid). He likes it. He says its actually very comfortable. The one thing he doesnt like, is that it doesnt rock backwards at all. He cant lean it backwards are all. It does have a little rock to it, but not near enough. But, he keeps saying it is comfortable.
Both my husband and I are a little on the large size... hes a 42 mens pant size, Im a 20 womans. And both our wider bottoms fit in this fine. But someone that is more than 4-6 sizes larger than us... theyre likely not going to find it comfortable as the arm rest supports will cut into their side. Its not an extra wide chair. But it does have more width than a narrow chair would.
My husband said it was easy to put together. It comes with a little allen wrench, so you dont need any other tools. The parts are labeled differently than theyre labeled in the directions. The labels on the parts are all done with letters of the alphabet, while the labels on the parts in the instructions are all in numerals. But its really not a big deal because there are limited parts and its super easy to tell what is what. Also, the manual says there are 2 kinds of screws. Nope. Theres just one. Theyre identical. So you dont really have to pay attention to which screws go where. Theyre all the same.
In the end, its a neat looking chair. It doesnt rock backward but is is very comfortable.
Comfortable, a little short, and doesnt rock back
