This is a very well made bed for the price, I also think it is rather stylish (I bought the natural wood finish model). I had a few moments of confusion putting it together (mainly on just how to lay in the slats) but it was well labelled in general. Its heavy (I have the king size model) and I could see how some people could have some dings in shipping. I see one person made a negative comment on the slats being plywood, I dont think thats an issue because there are so many slats and with solid wood you have concerns about warping and cracking.
