It took less than 5 minutes to put together, super sturdy and heavy so it does not budge when we put our feet on it. We have the matching couches too and the fabric has did up well to misbehaving cats. Solve people complained about the holes in the sides... I'm pretty sure they are part of the distressed design. They all have these and I don't notice them or care. It is not a defect.
I'd buy this ottoman 10 times over.
