This 9 foot three tier umbrella is a large impressive addition to my deck. Its constructed with quality heavy fabric and well supported with ample aluminum tubing. The pictures show the amount of aluminum support and the quality of construction. The open tier design handles the wind very well especially for this larger umbrella. This was important to me as its used on my second story deck which tends to have more wind. My table is 41 inchs in diameter so this umbrella is much larger than the table. The open tiers allow the wind to pass through and its not at all overpowering in a medium breeze. The color is vibrant but more of a burgundy than a fire engine red which I like. The pole is standard diameter and fits my standard table hole perfectly. The crank is solid and well constructed with a heavy cord which takes little effort to open and close the umbrella. This is a high quality well constructed umbrella that should last for many years if taken care of. The price was on the higher side of what I was looking for but the large size with open tiers and extra quality makes this a much better option for me and is a good value for the price.
