We needed one extra spot for the occassional guest, so we got this for our office. It was relatively easy to build (tedious, but easy, like most bigger objects). We just but a 6/inch mattress to go on top. and it works well enough. Might not be comfortable for long/term sleeping, but for a night or two it works great. Our dogs love it too! Well made and comfy!
