A solid frame, but with its own caveat.

Today, I’m looking at the Twin Bed Frame. It’s a pretty solid, albeit plain looking, unit. I will say this thing is extremely heavy duty and feels like an iron tank once completed. The build process was fairly straight forward. There was no point where I needed a tool that wasn’t included with the set. The entire thing can be put together using nothing more than the included wrench and allen key set. I managed the build it by myself in around a half hour. I did have a few qualms with this process, however. 1.) While the labeling for what is what is in place, they didn’t label multiple of the same item. That I mean by this is, if there are multiple bars that are similar (such as bar N) only one of those bars is labeled. This wouldn’t be an issue, but they bundle a few bars that are different in single bundles, so you really want to make sure you keep tabs on what is what as you lay them out. That said, those similar but different parts can be differentiated pretty easily, so it isn’t a big deal. 2.) All but two of the bars that go underneath the bed do not actually get bolted in. They can be pulled right out without any tools. If you have a kid who has a habit of getting into things they shouldn’t, this may be of concern to you, because those are pretty heavy duty metal and in the hands of a hyper child could do damage to a person or the walls/windows/tv/anything else in their vicinity should the kid take the mattress off and grab one. I wouldnt worry about them falling out on their own, however, since they have to be pulled vertically. With that out of the way, I am happy to report that the unit feels solid enough and had absolutely no issues holding the bed, and easily held my wife, both sons, and my step daughter with the weight of the bed included. I have no hesitations advising this bed frame to anyone who needs one, unless the aforementioned issue number 2 is a concern for the application at hand. If you have a kid you think might take the mattress off out of boredom, I’d look elsewhere.
