Just by myself, it took 4 1/2 hours. Directions are great if youre a visual learner. I had to redo a piece like 5 times, probably took 30/45 minutes, just because I kept putting it in the wrong direction (user error). I love that the rods literally screw into the frame. My last metal platform just had the rods be inserted into the frame and they sucked. On that note, halfway through screwing the rods, you really had to work to get the screws in. Which SUCKED when your fingers are shot from all the other screws in the bed. Otherwise, it was really easy to assemble. Its very pretty and seems very sturdy so far. I definitely say that, if youre on the fence, buy this one. Awesome!
