I was surprised by the quality of the material. Once assembled it is very sturdy and I have no second thought about the kids safety here. Only issue was a few of the vertical pieces were a bit rough around the edges to the point I sanded lightly to prevent the kiddos from getting any splinters. Other than that it is a great product for the money. what else can I say
