Sturdy. This mirror fit the rustic look we were going for in our updated bathroom. Its well/made and sturdy. Note that it arrives wrapped in plastic which did not allow the strong wood stain smell to dissipate. I had to let it air out in the garage and outside for a week before hanging it in the bathroom.
