Its SUPER easy to assemble. Usually assembling furniture is the make or break point for me and my boyfriend and we got through this with NO issues. Everything was practically built already so we barely had to be in each others faces. Super quick to build! The wood board have velcro on them so they dont slip when the mattress moves AND they have a peel and stick on the wood to keep the mattress from moving. When i saw that i knew it was a good purchase! As far as comfortability, 10/10!! still feels plenty sturdy
