My plan for these waders were to use them hunting and metal detecting early and late in shallow water. I have not hunted them yet, but so far they are really impressive. I have used them in cold streams and rivers where we spent hours waste deep. The flexibility is really helpful when metal detecting. Bending and kneeling constantly has not been hampered what so ever. They have kept the chill of the continuous cold water off me for as long as 10 hours. I am certain when the fall hunts start and the docks need to come out and go in.I will be even more impressed. It looks nice
