We bought this bed after much consideration, thinking it would be sub standard. We were pleasantly surprised. It was a little overwhelming when we got the 4 heavy boxes, and thought it would take us at least a day to put together, after we saw all the pieces. We were pleasantly surprised. The instructions are easy to follow, and there were no pieces missing. It took 2 of us only 1.5 hours to put the bed together, and another 1.5 hours to put the 4 drawers together. It is a solid bed, and we were happy about the extra support down the middle. The drawers are free standing on casters, which we were surprised about, but are sturdy, and stay aligned when opening. It isnt solid wood, but for the price, it is an excellent choice. Absolutely awesome product!!
