The first umbrella I bought had issurs from the start. There was a scratch on the pole and crank area which made me think the umbrella might have been used. After 2 weeks I had trouble cranking the umbrella closed. By the 3rd week I could barely close the umbrella. I decided to exchange it for a new umbrella. The replacement umbrella works better.
