Definitely takes two people when assembling the final piece together such as the sides and main piece. It is best to build it in the room where you plan on keeping it. Its not super heavy but not a 1 person job. Shallow medium cabinet space, and doors are not able to close one at the time, but to close, then close both doors together. Very nice
