It took me less than an hour to assemble with a helping hand from a 9 year old. Suprisingly solid constitution, real wood and nice paint. Its not often a piece of furniture you assemble yourself is such high quality. The ladder will need some extra brackets after some usage. Otherwise a very sold bed. I was so excited to use it
