This desk is beautiful and sturdy. I have no issues recommending it.
What I like...
- Easy enough to assemble. I am permanently disabled after recovering from paralysis twice in my life. If I can assemble it, I think most people can too.
- The wood is heavy and durable especially for a manufactured material-- great quality.
- Thick and durable metal frame easily resists bending and bowing under pressure. This is not a thin and flimsy metal frame.
- Fingerprint and smudge resistant thanks to the finish.
- The wood finish on this is absolutely beautiful! This turns a would be low-end desk into a high mid-range quality piece of furniture that easily looks stunning in almost any space in my home.
- The predrilled holes are perfectly aligned.
- Space saving. It fits snuggly in a small space in my livingroom and there is shelf space for my computer tower, my books and my personal files.
- Includes extra parts
- Includes a riser for a computer monitor!
What I dont like....
- I would have liked this to have more shelves
- The directions could use a little more details. An example of this is the part in the assembly process that requires you to attach the first cross bar along the back of the right side section of this. I originally put this piece on backwards as I didnt know which direction to face the holes. Later in the process of putting this together I had to remove this piece and turn it around. So... I dont like the sometimes vague description of the instructions. Dispite this, I was still able to assemble it without any major issues.

I contacted the seller yesterday in search for a replacement instruction manual. I lost mine. The seller responded within a few hours. I was provided an immediate solution without any issues. The entire process was painless, convenient and respectful-- fantastic customer service!
