After doing a lot of research on chairs, I decided to buy this for my desk at home. I spend a lot of time at my desk, so I wanted comfort and support to be top priority. Overall, I would say that this chair meets my needs, but it has a few downsides.
In terms of comfort, the seat is nice and cushioned. Its made of a fabric thats very soft and has stayed plump after a few months of use. However, there is a flaw in this fabric type, if a piece of fuzz comes off the clothing your wearing or if you drop something very very tiny onto the surface of the chair, it will almost always fall into one of the crevices of the . Ill be honest, this is a minor complaint as this VERY easily remedied, but I figured it was worth mentioning.
As far as support goes, there is an adjustable lumbar support band located near the lower back of the chair, and it can be adjusted slightly. Its pretty solid for keeping my posture straight when I sit all the way back. Also, this chair can recline back and can be locked so you doesnt, and it can raise and lower very nicely.
I think my biggest problem with the chair comes in the form of the moving arms. The arms of the chair are able to raise and lower depending on whether or not you want to rest your arms on them, which is one of the reasons I bought this chair. However, theres one problem with this concept. When I put the arms up (they are positioned behind the person sitting when they are up), they dont go far back enough and end up poking my arms a bit when I sit all the way back. This gets annoying pretty fast, but its tolerable I suppose.
Overall, Id say this chair is great. Its easy to assemble, comfortable to sit in for long periods, and provides good support. However, if you dont care for the arms not going far back enough, Id give this a pass. Otherwise, its totally worth it. It is ok.
An Overall Great Chair
