Very easy to assemble. Must pay attention to the direction of the legs to avoid confusion . Sturdy and slightly heavy. Put cushion stoppers on bottom of legs to avoid scratching hardwood floors. Nice, attractive piece. Just the right size for entryway. Not too many pieces to deal with. Like it so much I bought a smaller version.
