While nothing is ever perfectthis proves it. Sturdy to the extent you wouldnt want to jump or play hard on it. There were a few blemishes in the matt black finish like something bumped hard against it creating a mark that cannot be removed. Not terribly noticeable but still irks me for the price. One screw in the head board would not set, it just goes round and round! And this was the second one l ordered, sending the first one back due to big dent in foot board top rail.
