For the most part it was easy to put together however when it came time to add the wooden slats, they would not all fit. Most fit but about 3 of them were a tad longer and needed to be sanded down to get them to fit within the frame. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because it isnt grey. Its actually a Taupe color. I have added a photo where the bed is against a dark grey wall and with a light grey comforter on it. Think before you buy.
