Perfect for what I wanted First thing I noticed when I received it is how heavy this coffee table was. I was very glad I felt that it was actually pretty heavy. play top and bottom shelf are made of pressed board but really do have a real wood look to them. So its very easy to put together and me and my life had it unpack built in less than 10 minutes. We have wood floors so it looks really good over the wood floors. my wife painted are other coffee table and it turned out terrible so we decided to buy a new one. Definitely happy with the way this one turned out.
