The bed arrives in 4 boxes. We received 3. The 4th arrived a few days later, minus several parts from a damaged box. The manufacturer was super responsive in getting our missing parts shipped, but then the UPS shipping center lost our box for a couple of days. Our 6/8 hour assembly project took a couple of weeks. Yes, it was frustrating, but the delays were really on the carrier, not the manufacturer.
You assemble matching side sections and a foot section. Then you connect it all together with the center support and slats. Pay very close attention to the orientation of each board. Count the holes, make sure they match the drawing, notice if screw holes are closer on one end of a board than the other. The directions are quite clear. You can see the small differences. Just dont think both sides/ends of a board are the same. If you take your time and keep double/checking boards and hardware are oriented correctly, youll end up with a great bed. Yes please!
