I liked that the bed came with all the parts, no damaged pieces and the gray is very pretty its not light like dove gray nor is it dark like a storm cloud. Its a great in/between gray for a boy or a girl. My kids have always been large for their ages and they have yet to destroy this bed. Its sturdy. The down side is this: Im about 5 8 and I cannot sit up completely on the bottom bunk to read to my children I have to lie with them or kneel alongside the bed. Thats not a major issue for us though because we plan to use the beds separately (not bunk form) when our son and daughters no longer have to share a room. It only took my husband and I about an hour to assemble the bed. All in all, its a good piece of furniture. It was packaged nicely
