Good. This unit sat lower than what I wanted. We ended up modifying the base to add height to it. We also added a solid plywood sheet on top of the slats before putting a Sleep Number bed on top. The unit is now at the height I wanted, and it looks wonderful along with the Nightstand Headboard, Black, Queen we purchased at the same time. All the electric wires and motor for the sleep number bed are all hidden under the bed, with plenty of room. The drawers wont hold a lot of weight, but they will be adequate for storing extra pillows, sheets and blankets.
