Well made. It was just what I wanted. Over all a nice unit with only a few problems, shipping was quick and easy (considering it was a bed) and assembly took me about 45 minutes alone. The 6 draws under the bed provide plenty of storage for cloths, sheets, towels, or anything else not to heavy.
Now for the few problems I have with the bed. First the material that makes up the bottom of the draws in relatively thin and bends easy. This would not be a problem except they way the bottom is held in if it bends to much it pop out. So the draws on the bottom can only be used for lightish things.
The second problem is with the end boards and the slats that the mattress sits on. The end boards are only held on by the side boards on each side this means they have a tendency to bow out if there is a lot of movement on the bed. When the end boards bow out the slats that hold the mattress up tend to fall out of there channel and move around which make the end/corners of the mattress fall down. This is especially bad if you have a mattress that is very flexible like a memory foam mattress.
I made the draws a little stronger by adding some thin cross members under the bottoms. By replacing the slats with a single peace of plywood the same thickness I was able to fix the bowing and falling threw problems.
Overall a good bed for the money and with a few very cheap and easy changes the short comings can be fixed.
Good bed, better with a few changes.
