This bed is great quality/very sturdy, which was my main concern with a lofted bed for a 7 year old. It arrived in 5 boxes. It took me a while to assemble, but I am not a very handy person and I was able to put it together by myself. One of the boxes was missing the instructions, but I called customer service and they emailed me the instructions right away. Very pleased with this purchase
