Effective. The product was by far the cheapest most affordable. The surprise to me was that even though I was reluctant to buy a metal bunkbed (the competitors was VERY noisy), this one comes well equipped with hardware to secure the pieces which keeps it sturdy and quiet. Was well worth the money!
