Its worth every penny. Smart buy. I am really impressed with quality and design of this bunkbed. For example, the underneath slats ( 7per bed ) are connected by strap and are each screwed in to the side board. Plus there is a meatal strip down the middle that the slats rest on. This meatal beam is screwed into the footboard and headboard railing. I feel confident of the sturdyness and safety for my grandkids sake. The icing on the cake is how nice it looks. I choose the Expresso finish. Beautiful.
