The manufacturer has incredible customer service. Its very comfy and Im very happy! Good solid wood base to work with.Some of the directions are not clear. Could not figure out how to use the metal locking device looking at the diagram. Finally, I figured it out given the hollow circle indentations. l had to change a few things. I did not use the wooden slats provided. Went to my local lumber yard and had them cut 5/8 AC plywood sheets for the top bed andcthe trundle bed. I had read other reviews and used the same idea. I also went a step further and reinforced the inside corners with L shaped metal <. I feel there are some flaws with the mattress support design. I felt the extra metal could help with this support system. Overall, a really nice looking unit7
