This has been the worst summer in Texas with 60+ days with temperatures over 100°, and our electric bill has tripled compared to a typical summer. I have never slept with a ceiling fan because I have bad allergies, and fans have always seemed to make them worse. However, I was desperate this summer.
This fan has been fabulous. It looks sleek and modern. It actually looks incredibly expensive and fits my vintage-modern style mix quite well.
For some reason, it makes a bit of a crackle sound on speed 2, but I simply select a different speed and all is well. It has plenty of power; I have never needed to go above speed 4.
My husband said it was easy to install. I also like that there is a warm light option by simply clicking through the bulb button on the remote.
Very satisfying purchase that I recommend.
