Good product with no good assembly instructions

Product looks good and sturdy. Definitely much lighter. The assembly instructions are not very good. Product comes with 3 length rods... you will only need one based on how high your ceiling is. Interesting feature I noticed on this fan, is the plate that comes with magnets. It actually attaches to the cover that covers ball and socket joint. Ensure your switches are turned off/breaker turned off before you do installation. Assembly Installation Instructions 1. Install fan blades first 2. Electrically connect light to fan, and then secure it with 3 screws ( you will remove existing screws from the triangel bracket, align the light segment and put those screws back) 3. Connect the hanging rod of your choice ( 2 screws and one pin) after snaking the wires through it 4. Slide cone cover to cover the fan + rod joint 5. Slide place with magnets (magnets pointing up) onto the rod, 6. Slide the cover that covers ball+socket joint) 7. Install ball at the end of the handing rod (one slide pin, and two screws) 8. Attached the socket bracket to the fan junction box on the ceiling. 9. Hang the fan onto the socket once its well secured (2 long screws). 10. make Electrical connections to the wireless module and the fan, and mains). Its all color coded. (Line and Neutral lines usually are white and Black, on this fan i believe is Brown and one other color) Overall it took me about 45 minutes to do assembly and installation. NOTE: the push connectors plastic male and female were not that easy to push in. You may have to cut the connectors off and use a wire tie instead. For all installation I recommend using Wago 221 connectors, you may need about 5 pieces of 2 circuit version, and 2 pieces of 3 circuit version. You can buy a kit from for $9.99
