The chair is easy to assemble, with few pieces to put together. The instructions that came with it are horrible, and frustrating to say the least. A whole bunch of pictures and not much direction. Once I got passed that part I was satisfied with the result. The chair was as pictured, and sturdy. Chair is firm but comfortable. Pay attention to the pictures!
