I bought this product for the front desk of our office to try to add a little color. I can see how it would make a passible craft chair, but I definitely wouldnt suggest it for any kind of office use (and maybe not even home use). Especially not for the price.
Quality: To the products credit, the brackets that attach the back to the bottom are very sturdy and look like they could take a lot of punishment. However, the upholstery staples in the bottom of the do not seem to have been long enough to actually bite into the wood underneath, so theyre just sort of superficially holding the together. This means that before long theyll fall out and the will start to roll away (that and Ill end up with staples in the carpet).
Comfort: They do show the bottom of the chair in the product pictures, but I didnt notice when I ordered that it is a solid bracket. This means that you cant lean back in the chair at all (or recline as they normally label it). This one is mostly on me, I had assumed that a 90 chair would recline, if only a little. Additionally, the chair is short. VERY short. Get out a measuring tape and look at the min and max height on the product page again to make sure it would work for you.
Overall, this chair is more of a decoration piece than actual furniture; something that would look pretty in a craft room or at a little writing desk. But if youre looking for something functional that youll be using frequently, Id look elsewhere. Not easy to put together.
Nice, but not 90 nice.
