Hard to assemble, the wood base it comes with (for the mattress) its cheap, one broke while trying to screw it down. My kids love it though. Some pieces were slightly dented but not too noticeable. it is sturdy. Ordered an espresso color and got black but Im not mad about it. It was delivered before time, so that was nice. Its a twin over twin.
