We received this bed as a gift for my daughter. All the reviews I read stated 4 hours to assemble. From start to finish that included removing everything out of the room to making the bed in the end 3 hours. I would recommend the last steps to pre drill a pilot hole when installing the white brackets. If you have a rubber or wood block and mallet to help install the final boards you need on top those where the only issues I found. Bed is awesome and very sturdy.
