Well built!! My daughter loves this bed. Assembly is easy but takes a little bit of time. I did it under 2 hours total. I did it by myself and you dont need a second person.
I think the people who are complaining about it being rickety didnt tighten the hexnuts enough.
One suggestion would be that if you have access to a ratcheting screwdriver with an allen key bit, use. Youll be able to save time instead of using the provided allen key.
The bed is absolutely sturdy for my 8 year old and she LOVES the slide. The slide works extremely well, is slippery just as it should be,
The bed does not feel cheap at all and heck, it isnt. But it is worth the memories you will make for your kid. I also bought the curtain set for the loft and that is also well/made and fits nicely along the perimeter of the bed to make it into a fort.
Shipping was very slow and it took several days to get notified that the product had even shipped. It was a bit hard to disappoint my daughter every day because the bed had not shown up. Thats the only negative during the whole shopping experience but it does not pertain directly to the product so I am leaving that out of my star rating.
