The box, which was left on my front porch is heavy, very heavy, but what made it difficult to maneuver was the awkward size of the box. The packaging was aming. Everything was in the one box which was actually double boxed. The storage of all the components in the back of the headboard is ingenious. All parts were well protected. The written instructions were clear, as were the photos. The quality appears to be excellent. I cannot say enough good things about this product and the company. The platform bed was easy to put together, but took a little time. If you are looking for a well made, well packaged bed frame, this is definitely it. I couldnt be happier. You should buy.
