Very pleased with the versatility of this hall tree. I decided to keep the back panels off and add storage bins instead of using the shelves which works well with hiding the view of the kids shoes and gives a cleaner look. The directions to put it together was easy to follow. A far as quality goes, of course its not solid wood so as long as its not going to be moved a lot, it should hold up.
