Ive read reviews saying this is hard to assemble. Seriously its not that hard overall. The assembly connecting top to bottom requires 2 people or it would be 5 star.
I would suggest when connecting top to bottom start a pilot hole from the base.. back the screws out.. the with base unattached finish the hole. This will allow you to attach the top without putting yourself in a comfortable position to leverage driving the screws in
